Terms and Conditions

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of go.oakwood.marketing and the website-building, hosting, and marketing services provided by Oakwood Marketing ("Oakwood," "we," "us"). By using our services, you agree to these terms. A separately signed service agreement governs any conflicting terms for that service.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business you represent. Provide accurate information, protect your login, and notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. Website and marketing services

Oakwood helps businesses create, host, and manage websites and marketing content. Website building is free; publishing is offered at $29 per month unless a different price is shown and accepted at checkout. Domains, advertising spend, and additional services may have separate charges disclosed before purchase.

AI-assisted drafts may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing business details, claims, photos, licenses, pricing, and generated content before use. We do not guarantee leads, revenue, rankings, uninterrupted availability, or approval of advertisements by Meta, Google, or any other platform.

3. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on the billing schedule accepted at checkout until canceled. You authorize the disclosed recurring charges and applicable taxes. You may cancel through your account billing controls or contact us for assistance. Cancellation stops future subscription renewals; service access follows the paid billing period shown in your account. Domain renewals are separate and follow the renewal settings and registrar terms accepted at purchase.

Refund requests are considered according to your purchase agreement and applicable law; nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights. Unpaid charges may lead to suspension of hosting or paid services.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain rights to the business content you provide and your website content, subject to third-party asset licenses. You authorize us and our service providers to process, host, adapt, and publish that content to provide your requested services. Oakwood retains rights to its software, tools, branding, and proprietary systems. Third-party fonts, stock assets, integrations, and domains remain subject to their own terms. Available website exports do not transfer Oakwood's software or third-party accounts.

5. Acceptable use and advertising

Do not use our services for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, misleading, infringing, or harmful content, spam, or unauthorized access. You must have permission to use submitted images, trademarks, testimonials, and customer data. Advertisements and landing pages must accurately describe your offer and comply with applicable law and the policies of the platforms used, including Meta Advertising Standards. You are responsible for required disclosures and any special-category restrictions.

6. Email and text communications

We may send account, security, billing, and requested service messages. Marketing email or text messages require consent where applicable. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts and HELP for assistance, or email sam@oakwood.marketing. Use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

If you use Oakwood to contact your customers, you are responsible for obtaining lawful consent, honoring opt-outs, and complying with applicable marketing and privacy laws. Accepting these terms alone does not authorize marketing texts or calls.

7. Third-party services

Payment processors, domain registrars, video providers, advertising platforms, and connected business tools operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and decisions are outside our control. You authorize integrations only for the services you request.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. You must provide appropriate privacy notices and obtain any necessary tracking consent on your own website.

9. Service limitations and liability

To the extent permitted by law, services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability related to a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not exclude liability or rights that cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension, changes, and disputes

We may suspend services for misuse, security risks, or nonpayment, and may update these terms as services change. Material changes will be communicated where required. The effective date above identifies the current version. Contact us first to resolve a concern; applicable law and mandatory consumer protections remain in force.
